1991 – Nominated for ACM country music song of the year
1994 – BMI Million Airs award
1993 – Lorrie Morgan’s “Something in Red” video voted one of the 100 top country music videos of all time
1998 – 2004 Served on the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) board of directors where she made numerous trips to meet with congressional leaders in Washington DC to advocate for songwriters
1998 – 2008 – Served as a lecturer and teacher at NSAI song camp, and cruises.
